How We Work

We have a small and ambitious team, spread all over the globe. We sync up on a monthly all-hands Zoom call, and most teams do a call together every 2 weeks. Everything else happens asynchronously, via Slack, GitHub, Linear, and Notion. That means you can pick the hours that work best for you, to allow you to be at your most productive.

To thrive in this environment you’ll need to have high levels of autonomy and ownership. You have to be resourceful and able to work effectively in a remote setup.

Responsibilities

We collect more than 20TB of Internet data every week, including BGP, DNS, ping and traceroute data from more than 600 servers around the world. Our data team turns that and related data into our products – IP geolocation, VPN detection, our IP tags and more. In this role you’ll be analyzing that data, working closely with our data and research teams to support product development and improvements, surfacing insights and issues and identifying opportunities. You’ll also conduct ad-hoc analyses to generate compelling insights for marketing content, sales support, and community engagement.
